About Laura
Laura Hope-Stone specialises in providing psychological support for people with cancer and their family members. As well as currently working in the NHS, Laura is also an independent private practitioner.
She gained expertise and in-depth knowledge of a wide range of cancer treatments including surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and cancer clinical trials at major UK teaching hospitals including: Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge; St Bartholomew’s Hospital London; University College Hospital London and the Royal Free Hospital London.
Laura can help you make sense of the situation and help you get ‘back on your feet’. She can provide a time in which you can talk about how you are feeling without worrying about, upsetting, or ‘burdening’ those closest to you.
Laura can help you find ways to cope with your anxiety, your worries and fears, and the effect that this has on your mood. She can help you deal with the changes in your life and find ways of coping with the difficulties that you are experiencing.
